Haslett thinks Redskins should re-sign Brian Orakpo

In what could be his final game with the Redskins, Brian Orakpo will be on the inactive list. The pass-rush specialist had been having a strong 2013 season, but a groin injury will keep 'Rak out for the Skins ultimate game. Orakpo enters the offseason as a free agent, and will be a valuable commodity in the NFL marketplace.

Joining Orakpo on the inactive list for the Redskins game against the New York Giants is wide receiver Josh Morgan. A D.C. native, Morgan has been inconsitent in his two seasons with Washington, and rumors circulated questioning his practice habits in recent weeks.

Beyond Orakpo and Morgan, the Redskins also placed Robert Griffin III, Josh LeRibeus, Adrian Robinson, Chase Minnifield and J.D. Walton. This marks RG3's third straight game on the inactive list, a stunning fall for last year's Offensive Rookie of the Year.
