Starting right tackle Tyler Polumbus will be listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys, Coach Mike Shanahan said.
“When he did practice today, he looked pretty good, which is a good sign,” Shanahan said after Friday’s practice.
Polumbus said: “I feel like I’m making progress towards Sunday. …As a competitor, you want to be out there for everything, so I’m certainly going to do everything in my power to get out there and be a part of this game.”
Polumbus did not take all of his usual reps, though. If he’s unable to suit up, backup Maurice Hurt would likely get a second consecutive start.
“We didn’t want him to have all of the reps, just in case there’s a setback, so we switched reps,” Shanahan said of Polumbus, who suffered a concussion in Cleveland and did not play against the Eagles.
Safety DeJon Gomes was also limited in practice and is also questionable. He suffered a sprained left knee against the Eagles.
