The number of NFL teams in search of a new head coach remains at five.

According to multiple reports from the Bay Area, the Raiders will not fire head coach Dennis Allen. Oakland has gone 4-12 in each of Allen’s two seasons on the job and it was thought that owner Mark Davis might let Allen got during their end-of-season meeting yesterday.

But Davis said that Allen’s job status was not an issue during the meeting.

We’re ready to rock and roll,” said the son of the late, legendary Al Davis.

The non-move means that the Redskins are still competing with four other teams for the best head coaching candidates. The Loins, Browns, Vikings, and Titans are still in the market along with the Redskins.
