Philadelphia radio host Howard Eskin is citing unnamed sources in reporting that Dr. James Andrews is recommending quarterback Robert Griffin III adjust his recovery timetable.
According to Eskin, Andrews recommends that RG3 not play in Week 1 against the Eagles and instead wait until after the Redskins' bye in Week 5 to take the field.
The report was quickly denied by team sources, including those speaking to CSN's Chick Hernandez and Tarik El-Bashir.
