Redskins tight end Fred Davis was sidelined last week with an injured right ankle and isn’t sure he’ll be able to suit up Sunday in Oakland, either.

Davis said he sustained a sprain on the final play of practice last Friday.

“It was one of those high sprains that can bother you a little bit,” Davis said. “It was basically one day before the game, so I knew I wasn’t going to be able to play. So this week, we’re going to see what happens.”

Davis said he’ll have a better idea about his availability for this week’s game by the end of practice Friday.

“It sucks, but at least it’s something like that and not something severe,” Davis added. “I can deal with [it], something I can push through. I think I should be able to play.”
