On an otherwise gray afternoon at FedEx Field, luckily the forecast also called for a flurry of pink.Tanya Snyder, wife of Redskins owner, Daniel M. Snyder, along with the first ladies of Washington and members of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority welcomed fans with 'THINK-PINK!' ribbons and educational materials in support of the NFL's Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.Mrs. Snyder, a breast cancer survivor herself, along with ZTA, started the campaign over a decade ago. Washington served as pioneers of the initiative, being the only squad in the league to participate at that time.Amanda, a member of the University of Maryland chapter of Zeta was moved by a male fan whom was proudly adorned with 8 ribbons he had collected from years past.Brianne, was one of the cheerleaders who braved the rain and a member of Zeta, is personally connected to the cause as her grandmother lost her battle with cancer. She said it was 'pretty cool' to see two of her favorite things, Zeta and the Redskins, come together for this cause. The Redskins players, also joined the effort to 'tackle breast cancer.' Most notably the Redskins rookie QB who wore a pink sleeve on this throwing arm. Today, no touchdown could be complete with out a little pink.
