With the Redskins’ 2013 season winding down, CSNWashington.com will be keeping an eye on the upcoming college bowl games and the NFL prospects who could be on Washington’s radar in 2014 draft.

What: Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl

Who: Georgia Tech vs. Ole Miss

When: Monday, December 30, 3:15, ESPN

Players to watch:

If the Redskins want to go wide receiver early, Donte Moncrief of Ole Miss could get a good look. The numbers get him attention—6-3, 230, and a 4.45 time in the 40. He could be a draft bargain as some teams stayed away from him as his production fell from fell this year from 66 receptions last year to 53 in 2013 and his touchdowns were cut in half from 10 to 5. Moncrief hasn’t yet declared for the draft but if he jumps in the pool the Redskins are likely to be interested.

Georgia Tech outside linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu has a problem that some coaches like. He has a tendency to play too aggressively at times, often attacking without a plan and not executing fundamentals in pass coverage. If the Redskins need to replace a departed Brian Orakpo, Attaochu could be available for them in the third round.
