Kyle Shanahan on Jordan Reed: We missed him a ton

Redskins Post Game Live

Tight end Jordan Reed, fullback Darrel Young and Niles Paul will be listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Giants.

Reed returned to the field this week after missing Monday's game with a concussion. Young has been hampered by a hamstring injury that he suffered in practice. Paul, meantime, has been battling an illness for several days.

“He’s nauseated, headache,” Coach Mike Shanahan of Paul. “They gave him a lot of antibiotics. But he was feeling better today, so we’ll see how he is tomorrow.”

Young is also making progress, Shanahan said, and took a few reps in Friday’s practice. If Paul plays, Shanahan said he’d like be limited to special teams duty.

Paul is Young’s backup at fullback. If both are sidelined, the team would likely go fullback by committee.
