The roster moves were announced on the teams Twitter feed.If Minnifield is not claimed by another team, he will revert to the Redskins injured reserve list.Minnifield was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia. According to many scouts, he would have been a mid-round draft pick had he not undergone microfracture surgery on his knee earlier this year.He flashed some ability during the offseason practices and drew praise from the coaches. It was reported last week, however, that he would start training camp on the PUP list, meaning that he could not pass his physical to participate in practice.Jones, 26, was a fifth-round draft pick of the Saints in 2007. He has played in 54 games in five seasons with the Bengals and Jaguars and has one career interception.
