The Redskins have signed safety Bacarri Rambo and outside linebacker Brandon Jenkins, according to a league source.
Rambo was drafted in the sixth round last month, while Jenkins was selected in the fifth. Terms of the deals were not immediately available.
Rambo is expected to battle fellow draft pick Phillip Thomas, among others, for the vacant free safety job this offseason. Jenkins, meantime, is expected to challenge for backup duty behind Brian Orakpo.
The team has yet to agree to contracts with draft picks David Amerson, Jordan Reed, Thomas, Chris Thompson and Jawan Jamison, according to the team’s website.
