Stories emerge from those striving to make roster
RICHMOND—Jordan Reed left Monday's practice with a bruise on the top of his foot, Coach Mike Shanahan said. The extent of the rookie tight end's injury was not immediately known.
Shanahan said Reed was scheduled to have an MRI.
“I can’t tell you how serious it is at this point,” Shanahan said. “We’ll get it checked out, get an MRI on it and make sure he’s okay.”
Reed missed the team’s offseason program while recovering from a quad/knee ailment.
After being sidelined last week, cornerback DeAngelo Hall (ankle), safety Brandon Meriweather (knee) and running back Chris Thompson (knee) returned to practice Monday.
