All week the biggest question in Washington has been the health of Robert Griffin III's right knee.
After sustaining a vicious blow to the knee last Sunday in an overtime win over the Ravens, Griffin's knee has been the subject of much reporting and speculation. Redskins coaches have maintained all week that RG3 will be a game-time decision, and if he is not ready to go the coaching staff has full confidence in backup Kirk Cousins.
A report emerged today from Fox Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer that Griffin has only participated in individual drills this week in practice, and Cousins has taken the snaps with the first-team offense.
Redskins players tell me RG3 has only done individual drills this week, no first team reps at all. He's thrown to ... m.tmi.me/CDexP— Jay Glazer (@JayGlazer) December 14, 2012
Throughout practice this week Griffin has appeared during the brief portion open to the media. At times, RG3 would even play up the attention, waving to the cameras.
It appears Redskins fans will have to wait until Sunday to know who will line up at quarterback.
