Could there be a reunion coming involving the Redskins and the man who was the MVP in one of their Super Bowl wins? It appears to be a possibility. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports tweeted the following.

Williams played quarterback for the Redskins from 1986-1989. After the 1987 season he led the Redskins through a playoff run that culminated in an MVP performance in Super Bowl XXII. After retiring from football he served two stints as the coach at Grambling, his alma mater. In between, he was a personnel executive with the Bucs under General Manager Bruce Allen.

As La Canfora said, there is nothing done yet but it would not be surprising to see Williams back with the Redskins soon.
