Albert Breer of the NFL Network is reporting that the NFL has notified its teams that the 2014 salary cap will be set at $133 million.

That is a $10 million increase (8.1%) over last year's cap of $123 million. The 2014 cap is the highest ever, surpassing the 2009 cap of $128 million.

The number means that the Redskins will have about $30 million to spend when free agency opens on March 11.
