RG3, Wilson don wigs in support of breast cancer awareness
The Washington Redskins held the sixth annual All-Star Survivors Celebration at Redskins Park on Tuesday, in partnership with the American Cancer Society to benefit breast cancer survivors as part of the NFL's month-long awareness campaign.
The event treated twenty women from the Washington, D.C. area currently battling breast cancer to a makeup consultation, massage therapy, a tour of Redskins Park, as well as new clothing from Gap. They also gave out scarves and wigs, providing an opportunity for some Redskins players to play dress-up.
Here is a picture of Robert Griffin III and Josh Wilson modeling wigs from the event:
Mrs. Tanya Snyder, wife of owner Daniel M. Snyder, is the NFL's Breast Cancer Awareness Spokesperson and helped put on the event for the Redskins and their fans. It was part of league's campaign to raise awareness for breast cancer.
