Robert Griffin III has another plaque for his wall. The way things are going, he’d better have a pretty big wall.
The Redskins rookie was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week by the NFL for his Week 11 performance against Philadelphia. In case you haven’t heard the numbers, they were amazing. He completed 14 of 15 passes for 200 yards and touchdowns of six, 49, 61, and 17 yards.
When you plug those numbers into the NFL’s QB rating calculator you get back 158.3, which is as high as the scale will go.
He also rushed for 82 yards to lead the team in that department.
This is the second time Griffin has won the award. He also took it home for his performance in his NFL debut in New Orleans on Sept. 9.
