Six days after getting knocked unconscious, Aldrick Robinson recounted his scary collision with teammate Brandon Meriweather.Robinson was in the endzone at Raymond James Stadium, his head down and listening to music on his iPod when Brandon Meriweathers shoulder struck him on the side of the head. Meriweather also was not looking as he tracked a football through the air.The next thing Robinson recalls was slowly coming to as he lay on the field.I started hearing everyone saying, Hes knocked out, hes knocked out, Robinson said Friday. I couldnt move. I was trying to wake up but I couldnt. I was out of there. It was a scary feeling. He added: Its just one of those things where you wish you werent there at that time.Robinson has been cleared to play Sunday when the Redskins host the undefeated Falcons, while Meriweather will miss at least this weeks game. Both players were sidelined in Tampa. When I was watching the game in the locker room at Raymond James Stadium I felt normal, Robinson said. The next day I woke up and didnt have any concussion symptoms.Robinson said the accident could have been avoided had he not been wearing headphones as most players do for warmups. But that doesnt mean hell leave his tunes on the sideline for future games.I would have been able to avoid it because I would have heard everyone saying, Watch out, move, somebodys coming. So I would have been able to avoid it, Robinson said. Im still going to wear my headphones, Im just going to have my head up.
