Yesterday safety Ryan Clark said that he is headed to Redskins Park. He said this morning that he means business.
Hello there Northern Virginia. It's been a while. Pretty darn happy to see you again. Let's do business.— Ryan Clark (@Realrclark25) March 13, 2014
The Redskins released Clark in 2006 in favor of signing bust free agent Adam Archuleta. Clark caught on with the Steelers and he has had a fine career there, winning two Super Bowls.
At age 34 he won't be the same player the Redskins let go. But he did start 16 games and play almost every snap for a Steelers defense that was ninth against the pass and 13th overall. With the Redskins in dire need at the safety position, Clark would be able to hold things down for a year or two while other solutions are found.
