One of the biggest mistakes of the Dan Snyder era occurred in 2006, when the Redskins let safety Ryan Clark walk to sign safety Adam Archuleta. He turned out to be a big bust and Clark has gone on to be a solid player for the Steelers.
Clark is now a free agent and it doesn't look like the Steelers want him back. He said today on SportsCenter on ESPN that he was heading out after to show to visit the Redskins.

At age 34 he won't be the same player that the Redskins let walk eight years ago, of course, but with team facing a major need at safety it certainly can't hurt to check him out.
