Robert Griffin III was limited in practice Friday and will be officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in Cleveland, according to Coach Mike Shanahan.
“He keeps on improving every day,” Shanahan said after practice. “He looked much, much better today.”
Added if he had a gut feel for RG3’s status, Shanahan said, “No not really.” Shanahan added that he anticipates a decision on Griffin being made late Saturday or Sunday. If Griffin can't play, rookie backup Kirk Cousins will get his first career start.
“I’ll get a chance to evaluate him tomorrow,” Shanahan continued, referring to monitoring Griffin in Saturday’s walkthrough. “Talk to the doctors tomorrow and make a decision.”
