A trio of Broncos defenders have been fined for hits in Sunday’s victory over the Redskins.

Linebacker Wesley Woodyard was docked $15,750 for his helmet-to-helmet hit on backup quarterback Kirk Cousins late in Denver’s 45-21 win. Woodyard was not flagged on the play and Cousins was not injured.

Defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson was fined $7,875 for a late, blindside shoulder hit on Robert Griffin III that knocked the Redskins’ quarterback to the ground in the third quarter. Vickerson was flagged for unnecessary roughness.

Defensive end Malik Jackson was also fined $7,875 a late shot on Pierre Garçon after Garçon made a tackle following a Griffin interception in the fourth quarter.
