Your Tuesday morning open thread:
It's easy to look at a stat sheet and see that Pierre Garçon is having a good season and that Jordan Reed has been a very productive rookie. Brian Orakpo and Ryan Kerrigan are on pace to have career highs in sacks. DeAngelo Hall is tied for the the team lead with two touchdowns.
And those are some of the players who, along with Robert Griffin III, we write about a lot here and get written about in other places and are topics on talk radio.
But there are other players, ones we don't talk or tweet or write about very much who also are doing a good job this year. Who do you think is getting the job done while flying under the radar?
I'll toss in the first name--Leonard Hankerson. He's taken the No. 2 receiver job away from Josh Morgan. Hankerson used to make catching routine passes an adventure and would drop his share. But wide receivers coach Mike McDaniel told me that Hankerson has worked long hours this offseason to hone his craft. This year he has 15 receptions, most of them clean, and has just one drop.
He's my top under-the-radar performer. Who's yours?
