Tackle Trent Williams and linebacker London Fletcher each missed a third day of practice on Thursday. But Coach Mike Shanahan said it’s too early to know if either will be sidelined for Monday night’s game against the Giants.

“You never know,” Shanahan said. “They both want to play.”

Williams, who suffered a deep thigh bruise in Dallas when he collided with teammate Kory Lichtensteiger, has maintained that he expects to suit up for the pivotal NFC East matchup. He participated in some individual drills Thursday, but was obviously slowed by the injury.

Fletcher, who has been hampered by a sprained left ankle he suffered against the Eagles, has not missed a game in his 15-season career. His 235 consecutive games played streak is tied for the longest in the NFL.

“They’re both doing everything they can to play,” Shanahan said. “We’ll see the progress that they make.”
