Eleven months ago the Capitals fired one of the most successful and popular coaches in team history when they replaced Bruce Boudreau with Dale Hunter.

Boudreau was beloved in Washington as much for his blunt honesty as for leading the Capitals to four straight division titles.

For those of you itching for your Bruce-isms, Boudreau tells a doozy of a story on his latest segment of “Bruce Boudreau Uncensored …Sort of” on the Anaheim Ducks’ website.

The story involves Caps radio voice John Walton and the Hershey Bears, but we’ll let you enjoy the rest by clicking here. Hint: The best part comes at about the 2:20 mark.

As for other Bruce-isms, Boudreau recently told NHL.com that he has fond memories of coaching the Caps, but admits he wasn’t exactly rooting for them during the Stanley Cup playoffs last spring.

“I think human nature dictates that I didn't want them to win,” Boudreau told Dan Rosen. “I think that's just human nature.”
