If you’re tired of seeing the New York Rangers still alive and kicking in the Stanley Cup playoffs – and that may end very soon – here’s a little incentive for you:

The future faces of the Capitals will be invading Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington for the team’s annual development camp from Monday, July 7 through Saturday, July 12.

The weeklong camp, which will feature the Caps’ 2014 draft picks, along with top prospects Andre Burakovsky and Madison Bowey, will be the first under new head coach Barry Trotz. It will conclude on July 12 with a 10 a.m. scrimmage and Fan Fest inside and outside of Kettler.

The entire camp will be open to the public, concluding with an annual equipment sale and autograph session with members of the Capitals coaching staff and prospects, as well as a free open skate.

Here is a list of other offseason dates for the Caps, who will not conduct a Caps Convention this year in light of hosting the NHL' s Winter Classic:

Tuesday, June 24 - NHL Awards, Las Vegas (NBC Sports Network)

Friday, June 27 - 2014 NHL Draft – first round (NBC Sports Network)

Saturday, June 28 - 2014 NHL Draft – rounds 2-7 (NHL Network)

Tuesday, July 1 - First day of NHL free agency

Monday, July 7 - Capitals Development Camp begins

Saturday, July 12 - Fan Fest; Capitals Development Camp scrimmage, camp concludes
