How comfortable is Evgeny Kuznetsov feeling as a house guest of Alex Ovechkin?
Comfortable enough to beat Ovechkin in a couple games of Russian pool and make him pay up on their friendly wager with 10 pushups.
Kuznetsov posted this video on Instagram and Ovechkin was asked about it on Tuesday.
“He was lucky,” Ovechkin said with a laugh. “Just giving a kid a welcome. It was good.”
Ovechkin said he’ll try to help Kuznetsov with the adjustment to a new culture and a new language.

Capitals coach Adam Oates said he spent an hour talking with Kuznetsov on Monday and 10 minutes into the conversation Kuznetsov stopped him and asked what he meant by “D to D.”
“I said, ‘OK, well you could have told me nine minutes ago,’” Oates said with a laugh. “But we got through it.”
Ovechkin said Kuznetsov has asked him to explain Oates’ system and how he fits into it.
“He knows how to play hockey,” Ovechkin said. “That’s the most important thing. I’m pretty sure he’s going to find the way he has to play quickly. He’s going to be fine.”
And if they keep playing more Russian pool, Kuznetsov may help Ovechkin get stronger.
