Green, Caps getting healthy

Capitals fans have been keeping an eye on prospect Evgeny Kuznetsov for years as the former first round pick has blossomed into a dominant scorer in Russia's KHL. Now it appears the idea of him actually joining the team in Washington is a real possibility.

Reports have been out there, but Kuzentsov addressed the issue on Thursday in an interview in Russian via his team's website. Blog Russian Machine Never Breaks has the transcribed quotes.

Kuznetsov was asked if he had already decided to move to the United States to play for the Capitals. He replied rather directly.

"Yes, I don’t think it’s a secret for anybody. The 4th game of this homestand will be one of my last games here."

Kuznetsov also said he plans to live with Alex Ovechkin when he moves to get acclimated to the United States. He is still learning English and hopes to accelerate his studying when he makes the move.
