After four straight preseason shootouts, the Capitals return to action tonight in Boston against the Bruins.

Now at 36 players, the Caps are expected to trim their roster following tonight’s game in an attempt to get closer to the 23-man limit they must reach by their season opener on Oct. 1.

Here’s a quick look at tonight’s roster, which will features the line of Brooks Laich, Mikhail Grabovski and Troy Brouwer playing for the first time as a unit, and Mathieu Perreault and Marty Erat playing in just their second game.

Look for goaltender Braden Holtby to get the start and play a full game:
