Carlson on struggles: "We need to find a way"

Alex Ovechkin did not participate in today’s practice at Kettler Capitals Iceplex and is questionable for Friday night’s game against the New Jersey Devils.

Ovechkin suffered a lower body injury in the Capitals’ 4-1 loss to the Rangers in New York on Sunday, apparently after a collision with Rangers defenseman Dan Girardi.

Ovechkin sat out Tuesday night’s 2-0 loss to the Ottawa Senators, his third game missed this season.
