In case you missed it over the weekend, former George Mason basketball star Tony Skinn and his Nigeria teammates qualified for the London Olympic Games with a win over the Dominican Republic.
Skinn, a starter on the Patriots' 2006 Final Four team, scored eight points and dished out a team-high five assists against the Dominicans.
Nigeria will be in the same group as the United States, highlighted by a matchup against the Americans on August 2.
Could Skinn and the Nigerians pull a George Mason-sized upset? Actually, this one would be more like George Mason knocking off the 1996 Chicago Bulls.
