WASHINGTON (AP) -- George Washington kicked off its 100th season of men's basketball with a convincing 76-54 win over Radford College Friday night.

Kethan Savage came off the bench to lead the Colonials' offense with 18 points, hitting on 7 of 8 shots from the floor. Forward Kevin Larson added 16 points to lead George Washington's inside game, which outscored Radford in the paint, 30-16.

Ya Ya Anderson came off the bench for the Highlanders to score in double figures. Forwards Javonte Green, the only Redford player to start every game a year ago, and Jalen Carethers, were limited to five points each in 12 and 11 minutes playing time, respectively. Isaiah Armwood pulled down a dozen rebounds.

The Highlanders struggled shooting, connecting on 33.3 percent of their shots from the floor (20 for 60) and were 9-of-21 from the free throw line.

Debuting in 1906-07 season, and Colonials now are 1,244-1,080 all-time.
