The college basketball regular season officially tips in just over two months yet we're still waiting on Georgetown's official schedule release for the 2014-15 campaign.

Certain games and dates are public, including headliner matchups against Kansas, Indiana and Florida to open the Battle 4 Atlantis. The Big East dates remain a mystery as does part of the non-conference schedule, though we learned on Wednesday that Georgetown will host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Nov. 18.

Based on confirmations and media reports, here's what we know officially unofficially.

(Home games in BOLD)

11/18: TEXAS A&M-Corpus Christ
11/22: ROBERT MORRIS
11/26: Battle 4 Atlantis (@ Bahamas) -- vs. Florida*
11/27: Battle 4 Atlantis (@ Bahamas) -- Wisconsin or UAB*
11/28: Battle 4 Atlantis (@ Bahamas) -- UCLA, North Carolina, Butler or Oklahoma*
12/07: BB&T Classic -- TOWSON
12/10: KANSAS
12/13: RADFORD
12/27: vs. Indiana (@ Madison Square Garden)

  • That's nine non-conference games. Last season Georgetown played 12 including six at home.
  • HoyaSaxa.com has the Hoyas hosting St. Francis (NY) on Nov. 15.
  • Georgetown will play home-and-home series with the nine other Big East conference opponents.

Last season the Hoyas finished 18-15 and reached the second round off the NIT. With Big East Player of the Year of the year candidate D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera, the return of center Joshua Smith and a heralded five-player incoming class, Georgetown enters the upcoming season as one of the Big East favorites.
