Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball team home schedule opens November 11 against Duquesne and November 14 against Liberty, the school announced on Tuesday.The entire eight-game home non-conference schedule was released, highlighted by the opening tilts andthe matchup with Tennessee as part of the BIG EASTSEC Challenge on Friday, Nov. 30. After opening the season on an aircraft carrier in Jacksonville against Florida on Novemeber 9, the Hoyas return home for two regional round games in the Legends Classic. Following the games against Duquesne and Liberty, Georgetown plays at Barclay's Center in Brooklyn on Nov. 19 and 20 against a field that includes Georgia, Indiana and UCLA.Other non-conference home dates include Mount St. Marys Nov. 24), Towson (Dec. 8),Longwood (Dec. 10), Western Carolina (Dec 15)and American (Dec. 22).Georgetown's nine-game Big East home schedulefeatures Marquette, Syracuse, Rutgers and St. Johns. The Hoyas will play home-and home series against those four schools while only hosting Louisville (30-10), Pittsburgh, Seton Hall (21-13), DePaul and Providence.Tip times for all games will be announced at a later date.
