Summer practices may leave the players desperate to beat the heat, but its the coaches who are getting doused with ice water.

The Ice Bucket Challenge is a new campaign to raise awareness for ALS. Those who accept the challenge are recorded getting soaked with buckets of ice water and daring others to accept the challenge. The video is then posted to social media.

Both Mike London and Frank Beamer accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge and issued challenges of their own.

Virginia players decided to make London sweat it out a bit as they counted to three and waited, faking out the coach and then dousing him just as he began to relax. Just before getting soaked, he issued out a challenge to UVa alumni Chris Long and Anthony Poindexter as well as former UVa assistant coach and current Richmond head coach Danny Rocco.

Beamer took it up a notch. He stood outside the famous tunnel at Lane Stadium with players above him in the stands with two buckets. It was a bit much for the coach as he let out a comical yelp just as the water hit.

When he recovered, he called out Virginia Tech alumnus and current head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, Bruce Arians.

Challenges issued, the only question now is who is brave enough to respond?
