The Patriots are coming off a road win, their third straight away from the Patriot Center. However, Saturday's game is on the Fairfax campus, where coach Paul Hewitt's squad has lost three straight, most recently a demoralizing 78-60 thumping delivered by Georgia State last Saturday. Finding a winning formula could prove difficult against a surging Tribe squad that has won three straight, most recently a 75-63 victory over the same Georgia State program.
In Wednesday's 79-50 rout at Hofstra, George Mason's interior duo of Jonathan Arledge of Erik Copes combined for 31 points on 10 of 15 shooting with 13 rebounds. Leading scorer Sherrod Wright tallied 28 points in the Patriots 73-66 win over the Tribe in Williamsburg on January 5.

The Pride's last win also came against UNCW, but since that triumph, four straight losses. The CAA's lowest-percentage shooting team, Hofstra has not topped 54 points during the skid. Guard Taran Buie leads the Pride with 12.9 points.
