In the 2011 game at Dallas, Hall was beaten by Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant on a fourth and long and gets a penalty for pulling Bryant's facemask. Dallas beat the Redskin 18-16.

The 2012 game against the Steelers did not end well for Hall. In the 4th quarter he was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct after arguing with officials. Several teammates tried to pull Hall away, but were unsuccessful. The Steelers won 27-12.

Hall intercepted on Nick Foles' first drive. Hall set the momentum for the Redskins who extended the Eagles losing steak to six. Hall had seven tackles against Philadelphia. The Redskins won 31-6.

On the Thanksgiving Day match up between the Redskins and the Cowboys, Hall picked up an onside kick and slid just short of the goal line. Hall intercepted Romo and had three tackles. The Redskins won 38-31.
