NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Cleveland Browns by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

CLEVELAND BROWNS (23)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 23) - Four in a row apparently too much to ask.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 20) - Trent Richardson is right. He should be the focal point of offense.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 26)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 20) - Thought they may make it four in a row last week, but it just wasn't to be.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 25) - After yet another home loss for the Browns, rookie running back Trent Richardson offers his apologies to the fans.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 24) - Rookie Trent Richardson needs 103 yards to become first 1,000-yard rookie rusher in franchise history. Jim Brown rushed for 942 yards in his rookie season in 1957.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 22) - Pat Shurmur can resume talks with his local realtor.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 23) - Competitive vs. the AFC but finished 0-4 against the powerful NFC East.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 24) - Too many young players to expect an 8-8 season, but they needed to play better against a backup rookie quarterback last week.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 27) - The Browns faced the Redskins without RG3 and were introduced to another rookie QB, Kirk Cousins.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 23) - Brandon Weeden's rough rookie season continued with a 38-21 loss to Washington, casting further doubt about whether he is a bona fide franchise quarterback.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 23) - Brandon Weeden needs to finish with a flourish to be considered the Browns' QB of the future for a new regime.
