NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Washington Redskins by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

WASHINGTON REDSKINS (13)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 17) - Now can win at home.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 13) - Robert Griffin III is giving defensive coordinators sleepless nights.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 19)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 16) - They have a chance every week now with RGIII. Amazing!

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 11) - It's RG3 to the rescue once more, as the rookie sensation runs for 138 yards and two TDs and passes for another to break the Redskins' eight-game home losing streak.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 17) - Rookie QB Robert Griffin III has now produced more touchdowns with his legs (six) than his arm (five).

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 10) - I don't know how much the Redskins win, but I know RG3 makes them must-see TV.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 12) - Averaging 30 points per game can make up for a lot of deficiencies.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 12) - They may be a little high in the standings but RG3 keeps sending out the message he can win in this league now. The defense is starting to adjust to the loss of Orakpo and Carriker. The Skins sit in a fragile spot and could tumble - the Giants and Steelers the next two weeks.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 14) - RG3, RG3, RG3, RG3. I'm a believer! Defense will be an issue all year as they are having to "out scheme" teams to make up for a lack of playmakers.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 17) - Robert Griffin III - aka "Black Jesus," to quote Redskins tight end Fred Davis - has proven the salvation for a Mike Shanahan offense that has sputtered the previous two seasons with inferior quarterbacking.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 10) - They haven't been consistent, but on a good day the Redskins might be able to beat any team in the league.
