Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey is a Redskins fan and today he watched his team from the sideline as the Redskins went through their OTA session.

McConaughey is in town to attend a charity movie event that will be hosted by Redskins running back Alfred Morris. During practice he stood on the sideline and chatted with former Redskins Super Bowl MVP quarterback Doug Williams and owner Dan Snyder, among others.

Robert Griffin III tended to his business during practice but did notice the star’s presence on the field.

“I think if I was a woman, I’d notice it a lot more,” he said with a laugh to the assembled members of the media after practice. “It’s great to have him out here, he’s a big supporter of us as a team. Any time we can get those guys out here we want to.”
