With the arrival of DeSean Jackson to the Washington Redskins, one potential problem came up. Jackson, in his seven years with the Eagles, always wore jersey No. 10. Robert Griffin III, the Redskins franchise quarterback, also wears No. 10.
With both players now wearing burgundy and gold, the question came up who gets to keep No. 10. Most figured Griffin would keep the number, but RG3 weighed in via Twitter and made the matter final.
Everyone can now rest easy, the great number debate is resolved. Skins receiver Aldrick Robinson announced via Twitter earlier in the week that he will give up No. 11 and switch to No. 15, clearing the way for Jackson to wear No. 11.
Regarless who wears what number, all three players will suit up. Crisis averted.
