Robert Griffin III was asked who he believes is the Redskins’ biggest threat on offense.

His answer may surprise you.

“The biggest threat on offense?” he said. “Alfred Morris, in my opinion.”

“I think everyone would lean toward DeSean [Jackson] or Pierre [Garçon] or Jordan Reed,” RG3 added. “But I think it’s Alfred.”

Griffin, of course, was referring to the Redskins’ soft spoken running back, who has rushed for 2,888 yards and 20 touchdowns in his first two seasons but is often overshadowed by RG3 and others.

“[Defenses] are going to have to make a decision,” Griffin said. “You’re going to have to either put eight in the box and try to stop him from running, and dare us to throw it—which we will do. Or you leave the box light and let Alfred run over your linebackers or your safeties.”

Griffin added that he’s anxious to see how opposing defenses handle the choice.

“I think it will be interesting to see what defenses do,” he said. “But I’m not waiting. We’re not waiting to see what they do. We’re going to go out there and make it happen.”
