Redskins Talk

Redskins GM Scot McCloughan says the roster he is now overseeing may be more talented than the one he took over in San Francisco years ago.

The phones are open, but it appears there are few suitors for Redskins backup quarterback Kirk Cousins. Washington GM Scot McCloughan revealed as much Monday during a pre-draft press conference at the team's headquarters.

The Redskins have a full cabinet of seven picks heading into the 2015 NFL Draft, but general manager Scot McCloughan would like to trade down for more.

Scot McCloughan made clear that the Redskins have decided what to do with quarterback Robert Griffin III's fifth-year contract option.

The Redskins might have a tough time deciding if they want to draft Marcus Mariota but it's looking more and more like that's a decision they won't have a chance to make.
