CS in Washington dot com. Coach the difference in defense from first shift to second half what it was amazing well what was it that motivated the guys to put that defensive pressure to -- it. Well I think in the first at Villanova kind of put us to sleep. They were holding on to the ball I think our guys were a little bit surprised by that as to how long they actually are controlled the ball. And so our defense and you never felt like he needed to play great defense in the second half I didn't think we were still as sharp as we needed to be. Until late in the late in the game. When I say take came in and he started dog in the traveler and Jim long picked it up Mike Morrison Johnny Williams they were all -- at the defensive end of the floor. Luke Hancock did a much better job in the second half on Corey Stokes who -- let us up for eleven points in the first -- so. You know it comes down to the defense and and we picked it up at the right time were able to make some big plays offensively as well. A lot of guys say in the locker room after the game. -- coach tells us we don't have into the back to pitchers to complete the name of the truck pretty looked at thirteen three run. So many different guys contributed to take that -- and which won the game for you how proud -- visit as a coach to see the waiting came together as a team. -- I think the whole heap college basketball as there's a lot of parity. What separates team is how well they play together. Basketball's the ultimate team game you gotta play offense and defense it's not one or the other. You have to share the ball this is only one ball there's five guys who need to share it. And everybody's got to help each other defensively. We tell them that the team all the time one guy guards the ball but forward his teammates helping guard the ball. And and today down the stretch that's exactly what we did. Obviously you guys are great fan support we're in Ohio and all that's gonna take away from your excitement at all. Now -- -- eight if you tell the player you're gonna play against the number one team in the country on national television. They're gonna relish that moment they're gonna get excited they're gonna get focused and getting prepare themselves to play. The best basketball that we can play and we tell the guys all the time it's not about who you play tennis not about where you play but it is about how you play. And we need to be the best George Mason team we can be. CS in Washington dot com.
