CSN Washington dot com. Hey everybody I'm Jennifer Williams alongside former Redskins GM Charley casserly. And Charlie the buzz word this week seems to be rebuilding it's almost seen as a bad word if the Redskins are not rebuilding what are they -- Well they are rebuilding the in my opinion they should be rebuilding. -- -- let's look at the -- franchises in this city one of the capitals do they got it and start over now the one of the best teams in the National Hockey League what are the nationals do they committed the young players and not spending big money as they built their team now they get ready to go into that next step one of the Wizards don't they gonna follow the capitals mole. Break it down and build it up in my opinion the Redskins are rebuilding they need to rebuild and we need patience to watch them. Do this thing because they have the right people in place in management and coaching to do what they need time it's not gonna happen the next couple years. -- this concern out three and five and do you think it was the right choice to start three rookies would you say this season is eligible. Well I personally I'm not so sure that. This season in so eligible as a side they're not gonna go to the playoffs -- they have so many injuries right now let's kill the offense so that's a problem for them. What you wanna do at the end this year he's trying to make sure you have a fair value -- should not knowing your players but you can't play players just because they're rookies or young you had they have to have enough ability and an up knowledge of the system to go into the game and be contribute. Play your best players and coach the -- -- rookies and hope that they're good enough to get in there with -- -- with the injuries they have the enough of these players will get the opportunity to play. There's buzz that they released on -- all -- To make room for David he understand what you think -- that -- While David Anderson is as a good player from this perspective he's a slot receiver is good hands he has good quickness he can get open. On a short area run after the ball Kyle Shanahan had a -- Houston. So we knows what he can do what he can't do and he'll also know the system -- had given him any production so go wallets try something else to make sense to make. My Shanahan said it out and the post presser after the loss to the 49ers that back was his guy he was a starter. Do you think the Redskins can win with back at the -- Well I think first of all what Mike Shanahan do with Smart when the game is over you go ahead and you make the announcement right then you eliminate all the speculation. And the questions -- throughout the week now. What I've seen from back. I haven't seen -- I haven't seen what I wanted to see to say this guy could be. Winning starter in the NFL right now I think the guy is a little nervous with the football he's dumping it off he's not taken the shots down field. He's hole in the wall some. To take sacks he's not reading things through properly so. Bit disappointed. In what I've seen so for since he's become the starter. Fullback is now -- seven as a starter is what. If they continue to lose what should the Redskins do at the quarterbacks. Why first of all it's not just him and who's -- the quarterback right now Scott probably because they're missing their best playmakers. And even at that with their best play beggars I don't think they have one guy a Pro Bowl caliber when I say probable Calabar. Without implies to me is that is there were guys that you have to say that your defense to stop the Redskins didn't have at the beginning of the year and they've lost their best playmaker since then so I'm not sure no matter who you play Grossman -- quarterback. The offensive point total changes dramatically right now. I know that's no people don't wanna hear that but unfortunately I think that's the reality that the Redskins are dealing with now. Here's -- here's my measuring stick on back if he can keep improving which I haven't seen that. And if the coach's feelings and improving keeps improving then you play him. But if he hits a wall and the coaches are convinced he's not improving he's not execute with the -- well. The players are gonna see that the players can understand you stick with a player to a point. But you cannot lose the locker room when you lose -- locker room than that that that then they're gonna come back in question you as a coach so the line is if the coaches see improvement. Then you stay -- once they stop seeing improvement I think you go back to Grossman. For the good of the -- CSN Washington dot com.
