I'm Alan I want to address and being really quickly -- Last night after the first period very sloppy play from the capitals and your first comments to me it was our were expected and that's all you said expected so I wanted to hear from you. To elaborate a little bit more about why that was expected and. Well that Rangers game plan was to make sure that they're shooting the puck from everywhere in the first period and they had they come out at the home ice advantage to get the last line change. And they were shooting from the perimeter they were getting all the shots through from the defenseman and the forwards are just spinning and shooting a replica he -- of replicating what the Tampa Bay Lightning do you see it every night. And I expected that then I have a 1520 shots in the first period the capital the clock for on the front of the net. Hold hold off the the barrage of shots and just try to stay in the game at that point and then just build from there and get stronger as the game went on. Now of course I've shot everybody knows the -- -- last night the final stats on that 38 to eighteen. And that includes a lot of -- that doesn't include the 25 blocked shots of the capitals put down. Now the top 11 shot between three different guys Alex Ovechkin Marcus Johansson. Nicklaus back -- one shot among them how concerned are you JP when they Rangers are essentially playing by -- defenseman on them how concerned are you that they're able to shut down that top line. Obviously need a little bit more offense at your top line you know whether Johansson up -- -- worth with -- of mentioned it. I think is generated the goal and I would expect a lot more out of them in game six. When they're on home ice they've got to find a way to get more pucks on net. First and foremost more important than anything. What of the Rangers do specifically Allen to make about ten so ineffective last night no shots from him. What do they do it wasn't that he was ineffective day at the last line change and they made sure that they had their best defensive pairs in the most offensive force out against him. And they just took his -- the way that's why Brooks like kept five shots last night because they were overplaying Ovechkin they weren't they weren't letting him play the puck there -- Being physical with them but they weren't letting the puck get to him first and foremost. And so for her at bats can remedy that next game dale hunter's gonna have the last line change he's gonna put him out against their. A second -- third pairs of defensemen their weaker forward lines. And Ovechkin will he's going to be upset he didn't get any shots he's gonna take this personally you know he's gonna come on try to get ten shots in game six. What I caps need to do to remedy it last night JP. Well I mean like I said they need to get shots at the net they need to obviously. Play a little bit smarter than me today. You get the big saves hope he was great in in that game five. But he might want backup first goal. Of the game and you probably kicked himself about the game tying goal as well. And they've got to win the special teams battle and obviously they. Thanks to winning game seven things to the Rocky season they had they'd better prepared now for the schemes Texas. Out -- doesn't have great leadership from their coach she hasn't been -- he doesn't read insecurity he actually breeds confidence and all the fires in his demeanor after the game.
