Absolutely he's one of the best defenseman in the National Hockey League when healthy and last year the team was perfect when he was in line up at the start of the season he takes a -- in the face hurt his ankle. And then it was just a disaster every year for him and for the rest of the team all of a sudden the coach gets fired so this kid's gonna be healthy he had major surgery late in the season and is drawing. And an abdominal -- well. And get him back healthy he's going to be able to work on all summer long having the confidence of having this contract be able to play not worry about what's going to happen weather's trade -- not. It's huge and I think with a new coach who really understands how to utilize my best is going to be it's a very important signing for the franchise. The -- police the financial details of this contract which they don't normally do why is that significant. Well because they got him at a fair amount they got him at the amount they wanted to get him that it's exactly where should be paid. And they had their bets that they can keep him for a few years. So I think it's a very good contract that's responsible on their part and it shows that Mike Green wants to be -- -- capital because it could have signed a one year. And then he'd been UFA next year. And you wouldn't wanna have to deal that they've got -- locked up and he's worth taking that chance on because he's such a great player and the dollars are exactly where they should be. What does this mean now for John Carlson and his future with the team. What we John Carlson had a great play happy had a tough season last year but what it means is John Carlson they've got to take care of him he wants to get a contract done as well. It's probably going to be the same thing they're gonna give him a little bit more money because how well he play in the playoffs that wanna get him locked in for a few years. Can't they just want a low ball him he's not gonna sign a contract can be UFA next jurors well I believe. So he's -- gonna get him a few more dollars he's not gonna get Mike Green type of money at monopoly because he hasn't shown that offensive upside. But they've got a lock him in and they would love to get him for 234 years would be perfect. And with with the uncertainty of what's going on the clock to -- injury and I think longer would be better. Talked about players now about new head coach Adam -- what are you hearing as far as how he's being able to implement his new system. -- -- nothing yet but you know what's gonna happen it's gonna be the first time they've had a coach in a long time this paid attention to detail with them without the puck and know Bruce Boudreau was all about what he did -- the -- and Dale Arnold was all about what they did in the defensive zone without the puck.
