CSN Washington dot com. Key skills journey to the University of Richmond actually started when he wrapped up his football playing days at Duke -- I talked to. Some coaches about potentially been mentioned those kind of things. I just -- being on the administrative side was a better fit for me I can touch more students. I -- touch more people -- in 2007. -- was named director of athletics recreation. At American University. After five successful years in a -- he was tired at the University of Richmond last December. The great thing about Richmond is we've got a great story to tell. You know got a great academic institution if you don't get great athletic to be really competitive and successful. I'm in a best programs in the sweet 162011. And -- them. 2010 -- in the -- ten title. Football one national championship in 2008. Last year we were CAA champions you know arguably the toughest that's just conference in the country. You know we were -- for the conference if you like your team is good since you turned to last three years so if you look at the quality of our programs -- what we've got a good -- felt. Keith Gil doesn't wanna be thought of as a TrailBlazer. He just wants to carry out mock -- of his parents. And in doing so maybe that can inspire. Others -- the group in South Carolina -- Jim Crow. You know and they didn't really you have access the formal education. And as they seem kind of you don't race relations in the United -- progressed. They've always said to us and also say you have got a brother and a sister and an older brother -- sister you guys can do anything you want to. No so don't be limited by anything you know and and done. And I really kind of believe that you know I mean that's something that they you know and there are probably good you know. Single biggest influence on my life. And done and I certainly know would be winning through to do it education and governor stressed enough. If you get an education you can do -- every one.
