In typical fashion, on a night when the Wizards had rookie Otto Porter make his first appearance of the season, the storyline became about other players lost to injuries.
Otto Porter still is non-committal if he will play this week, but he has to pass a crucial test for coach Randy Wittman to seriously consider giving him minutes vs. the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Wizards have done it, well, sort of. For the first time since November of 2009, they're at least at .500 with Monday night's win at Verizon Center in front of 12,809.
With Saturday's 108-101 win vs. the Atlanta Hawks, the Wizards completed their second consecutive week of winning three of their four games in five days.
