The weather has dropped water temperatures to the coldest of the season, putting fish into an early winter pattern. Fish slowly close to drops of 5-8 feet.


Grass beds are nearly all gone in some areas! Fish are still in the grass, using it as current breaks and for ambush of bait! Moving baits are in order.

Low morning tides give many options this time of the year. But with incoming tides to fish all day, decisions need to be made according to location and condition.


Start on top and with cloud cover; poppers, walkers and wakers will produce.


The river is slowly thawing, but still has icy patches. Coves are iced over and the water is fairly muddy.
