Good news from the NHL’s labor front: NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly and NHLPA executive director Don Fehr are talking.
Now, the bad news: They’re not talking to each other.
Since the start of the NHL lockout in mid-September, I carried the same mindset as guys like Mike Ribeiro, Mike Knuble and Jason Chimera.
If the NHL lockout is going to be settled, it likely will be in the courtroom.
The NHL has come to a dead end in its negotiations with the players’ union.
And now a choice must be made.
